ToteTimer™

The ToteTimer™ system includes two separate timer-tags which provide a clear visual indication for endoscopy reprocessing staff about an endoscope’s status.

The unique selling point of the ToteTimer™ is the colour changing visual indicator tags that seal the bag, making the system tamperproof. The tags are clearly displayed whilst in transport trays and carts to show the endoscope’s reprocessing status without needing to open the bag.

How to use ToteTimer™

For Clean endoscopes:

1. Place the clean endoscope inside the tote bag with the clean green symbol showing.

2. Close the bag by twisting the top.

3. Attach the GREEN timer-tag to seal the bag.

4. Place the bag into the tray. The timer-tag will change colour from yellow to purple over the 3-hour time limit.

How to use ToteTimer™

For Dirty endoscopes:

1. Immediately after the procedure, commence pre-cleaning at the bedside, then place the dirty endoscope into the tote bag with the red contaminated symbol showing.

2. Close the bag by twisting the top.

3. Attach the RED timer-tag to seal the bag.

4. Place the bag into the tray and transfer to the reprocessing department. The timer-tag will change colour from yellow to purple over the 1-hour time limit
